NEW ROOF ON KILN BUILDING!

Tags:

Two of PCH's most popular departments -- jewelry and pottery -- were greatly affected when the roof of the Kiln Building caught fire last July. Specifically, the jewelers had to move their classes and, with the pottery kiln unusable, clay pieces couldn't be fired. With the near completion of the new roof and the addition of heating, air conditioning, and running water, the jewelers now have a new and improved workspace.

ANTIQUE PUPPETS NOW ON EXHIBIT

Tags:

As instructor Dializ Homer and Board member Nancy Starks were decorating PCH for the holidays, they realized that it was the perfect time to revive interest in our puppets. Decades ago, Craft House was known for its Saturday morning puppet shows and puppet-making courses. Alongside these activities was the amassing (around 500 in all) of antigue and international puppets given to us by traveling friends.
